The artist says that close to 100 animals are represented in this stunning piece, and certainly we can see all of our favorites depicted in color.
Noah seems to have all the animals well ordered with different doors and levels - from the small animals, all the way up to the bigger doors for the bears and elephants and giraffe's. Based upon the bible stories, few wooden ships have ever come close to the size of Noah’s Ark. It was depicted as almost one and a half football fields long and higher than a modern four-story house, and this lovely piece really gives you a sense of the scale.
